Everyone loves STICKERS!
Especially me.
I have a box full of them at home, and I’ve recently been satisfying my cravings by making my own, something I’ve always wanted to do.
So far I’ve made two types:
Vintage, recycled & found paper stickers
I have a LOT of paper. So I made use of it by making these sticker strips.
I used a mixture of vintage, found and recycled papers, such as music scores, old textbooks, vintage magazines and annuals, ledger paper, old computer papers, envelopes, stationery, sewing patterns, vintage map elements and more.
These are made using double sided tape. I managed to find some wide tape available quite cheaply at my local ‘discount store’.
I gathered some random scraps I’d accumulated over the years and stuck them down on the tape.
They looked surprisingly good!
Here are some uses for the stickers:
Colourful hand-drawn stickers
Secondly I made these colourful, fun stickers from some drawings I’d done for another project (Your Daily Quest) by simply scanning them in & printing onto sticker paper.
I’ve put both types up for sale in my Folksy shop!
