Lino Printing!

I saw this video by Pam Carriker about getting more mileage out of your art and was inspired to make a lino print stamp from a drawing I did in my art journal a while ago.

I traced the drawing with a soft pencil and transferred the image onto a lino block by rubbing the back with a hard pencil.

I like this design because I can see a lot of potential for making use of the space above her hand.

I love love love how this looks on the torn out book page. Afterwards I realised that the text on the page is all about lino printing! Pure coincidence!
